"19 Kids and Counting" is a reality television show produced in the United States by Figure 8 Films about the Duggar family, consisting of parents Jim Bob and Michelle and their 18 children – eight girls and ten boys, all having names starting with the letter "J", with baby #18 (Jordyn-Grace Makiya) born December 18, 2008. The show follows the family through their daily lives, focusing on the challenges of raising a large family as well as how the Duggars' conservative Christian beliefs impact the children's upbringing. |

| The show aired on TLC, which helped the Duggar family build the large house in which they now live. As of November 2008, only one season of 10 episodes has run, with reruns appearing on both TLC and its sister network Discovery Health Channel. The family (who lives in Tontitown, Arkansas) previously appeared in several TLC and Discovery Health Channel one-hour specials, most of which focused on Michelle's last three births. |
